“Love isn’t an emotion. Love isn’t the feeling of love imagined or projected. Love is a state of consciousness that flows from the soul of the individual to the heart and aligns the perspective of the individual to the Sovereign Integral.”
“There’re those two words again,” I said.
“I don’t get it. Being separate and whole at the same time doesn’t—”
Uncle put his hand up, stood to his feet, and knelt down on the dirt floor in front of the large stones we were sitting on and drew a heart and then a vertical line about three feet long.
“The top of this line, that’s the soul.” He drew two lines like a funnel.
“The bottom is the human being.” He punctuated it with a large dot.
“The middle is the heart. This line is the sovereign.” He drew a line horizontally that was about the same length that intersected the vertical line at the heart, making a large cross.
“This is the axis of connection that allows the sovereign to interact and share with others. This is the integral. Taken as a whole, this is the Sovereign Integral: soul to heart to body, and heart to the universe beyond the skin. It is the transmission.”
